Wee Memories Challenge #12, Red, White, and Blue Color Challenge

The Wee Memories challenge this week is to incorporate Red, White, and Blue into our projects.

Here is what I came up with quickly. I now have a head start on next years 4th of July cards! :)

Stamped Woodgrain background in VersaMark ink and poured embossing powder to heat set.  I really love how it came out and so pretty and shinny! Which is not really showing up in this photograph. urgh!
I then used my Big Shot die cutting machine for my scallop border die and spellbinders cut. Next I used my Cricut for the star. I stamped a Hero Arts Fancy Flourishes image on my scalloped rectangle in SU Real Red, and then I stamped my Happy 4th Sentiment by Our Craft Lounge and punched it out and added it to my star. Easy Peasy. For a finishing touch I added a Pure Poppy button at the top of the card.

Thanks for looking!
