Magical Moments

Hello dear readers!
The Color Cue 10 Challenge at Wplus9 has a
different spin on their usual challenge this round
because there are several different color
pallets you get to chose from. If I had more time, I would
have liked to have made a card for each of the different color pallets. :-)
For my card, I decided to use
Elise Durenberger's Color Pallet
I have been waiting to get my peacock from
Magical Moments inky, and I felt like this was the
perfect color pallet to do so.
I am also playing along with
Speedy The Cat's - Have a
Circle on Your card and
I hope you have a Magical Day!
~Tammy~

Color Cue {6} Challenge by Wplus 9

Hi!
This month's Color Cue Challenge at WPlus9 are:
And I am in love with these colors together. I've used them before, but it's been awhile, so thank you for having me bring them together again! Here is my creation for the challenge!

This is actually my second attempt..ha! I was told someone couldn't see my card yesterday, so I pulled to repost and decided I just wasn't 100%. It was was more to do with photographing the actual card, so I created another card and decided this time I wanted to heat set my tone on tone! Awww I like it so much better!

I just loving playing with my new Mehndi Medallion set. There just isn't enough time in the day right now to play with all those possibilities!

Well, I hope you are having a wonderful day in your part of the world!
Aloha Friday!
~Tammy~

It's driving me crazy.  I have tried everything.  In fact, there is no line return between my paragraphs, just so I could get rid of them, but that is not how it's posting. WPlus9 Color Cue {5} Challenge

For Dawn's Color Cue Challenge we were to use the colors Aqua, Brown, Orange and Green and we could use white for neutrality.

I found this card came together real easy for me. I loved putting these colors together and I knew I wanted dimension to make the colors and focal point pop out.

I wanted to start with a 5 x 5 card base using Chocolate Chip card stock by Stampin' Up! Since we have such rich colors I wanted to added a strip of white card stock across the card for neutrality then I stamped Papertrey Ink's Dot Spot across the white strip alternating the colors SU Only Orange, SU Chocolate Chip, and an aqua color from Martha Stewart. (It's a small ink spot that came in a kit I no longer have the name for.)

Then using my Cricut I cut a square doily in SU Only Orange and impressed it with Papertrey Ink's Sunshine Impression Plate.  Next I used my Cricut to cut scallop flowers to build my center piece layering each with SU Dimensionals to make it "pop".  Each flower layer was then touched with vintage tea dye for a timeless touch.  I added a little bling to the center with an EK Success Rhinestone.

Last but not least I stamped the cute little sentiment in Chocolate Chip from My Pink Stamper Simply Sweet Occasions!

Thanks for taking a look!
