Back 2 School...and a new Fascinating Friday Feature!

Hey all!

I am here today with a card for the Unity Friends with Flair and the Unity Monthly Challenge-Back to School. Be sure to stop by and blog hop with all the Friends with Flair participants to for a chance to win some free Unity Stamps! :-)

Using the Smarty Pants set by Unity, I created a simple but fun little Back to School card, by stamping the Report Card on some blue graph pattern paper I had in my stash next stamping the Back 2 School distressed sentiment on the focal image. For a little more visual interested I added a punched apple and button.  Across the top, I stamped the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, TGIF stamp which I thought was so cute! I know I always counted the days till Friday when I was in school! :)

I added some fun little papers found in my scrap collection to my chocolate card base. I added a doily dyed in Riding Hood Red.  I then added a complementing striped Riding Hood Red twill ribbon finishing with a button and some twine. I am playing along with Jules Crafty Snippet Challenge since all items were found in my handy dandy scrap box! :-)

I just love this stamp set by Unity Stamp Company. It is so fun to play and color with!

I am sending this off to my dear sweet friend in New York, so I hope she enjoys!

Tip: Don't throw those ribbon scraps away after you tie off your bows they make a nice addition to tuck in any card. Want not waste not I say!
