The Ribbon Reel 47 - Celebrate Your Day

Hey there Sweets!

{Now a Big Woo Hoo for Miss Abigail being the Life of The Party at Drunken Stampers on 2/26/13}

It's another challenge at the The Ribbon Reel! Whew! Where does the time go?  Lenet is our host and the theme for the next two weeks is "Let's Ruffle" make a card using the colors in the inspiration photo and ruffles!
I started with a white card base onto which I have layered my patterned papers.  Next I added a length of Satin Pleated Pink Ribbon to the left side of the card front and followed by wrapping around a length of Liliac Seam Binding and tied off in a fussy bow embellishing with a pink button.

The Stamps I used today are from Paper Sweeties. Abigail is dressed up using a gown from Dream A Little Dream.  A sentiment was used from the So Sweet of You stamp set.

How about this beautiful inspiration photo?

Please head over to The Ribbon Reel to check out the gorgeous projects by the other talented ladies on The Ribbon Reel Design Team.  We hope to see you join us in the gallery over the next two weeks for your chance to win some Ribbon Reel Goodness.

I am also entering this to Shopping Our Stash - They Say it's Your Birthday (papers from stash)

Let's Go Chill out Love!

Hi Ya!

{Eek, Jill at Everyday is an Occasion featured this card Sunday February 10, 2013. You can click here to read her post. Thank you so much Jill}

I really really needed a stress break, so I escaped to my craft room which is a big mess from working on several projects, but I just needed to craft to craft. So I just moved a pile to another pile and this is what I came up with.  I needed fun, cute and a little love and then a *sigh*!

I used the fox from Chilly Chums and paper pieced him with Lunch Bag Kraft from The Kraft Journal  and his little face, tail, and ears are actually teeny tiny white and pink polka dot patterned paper.  The sentiment was a combination from Chilly Chums and Falling for You.  I die-cut a pennant banner from the same patterned paper I used on the fox and added some darling punched hearts to the centers.  Using some of oldest bling I own in my stash, I added it between the pennants. It's so tiny, I avoid using it. Hence why I have had it like Fur-ever! I am pretty sure it's as old as when they invented bling for Scrapbooking and survived a move from Hawaii!
The patterned papers are a mixture of Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker and My Mind's Eye. I took a length of Hemp Twine and wrapped it around the card base and tied off in a bow adding a button.

I found inspiration at the following places:

You are Unique

Hi!

I have not been able to make my way to my craft room with family in town and being under the weather, but I managed to steal a bit of time this morning before I have to head out the door to a doctor's appointment.  So this will be quick and simple and to the point! :-)))))
I hand-cut a Polaroid frame and used all patterned paper from my snippet pile to create this fun little number. The darling little cuties are from Paper Smooches Zoo Crew and the sentiment is from Paper smooches Swanky Snowdudes.

I started with a Lunch Bag Kraft card base which served as my background that was embossed with a fun Zebra print by Sizzix.

Thanks for peeking in today! I am headed out the door!

Inspiration for this creation was found using the current Paper Smooches Sparks Cool Shades challenge.
The new to me Drunken Stampers - Wild at Heart Challenge
and of course, Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge - All Snippets on this make.
Thanks for peeking in on my little make today!
