DeNami Designs Bright Blossoms Blog Hop

Well, I saw bright and that is just what I ran with BRIGHT! I started with a Melon Pink cardstock base and added a piece of bright pink complimentary patterned paper down the center.

 On Kraft cardstock, I stamped one of the blooms from Summer Flowers in white pigment ink and heat set with white embossing powder. I used the leaf Summer Flower Leaves in the same manner. I then used Copic markers to color them in. I think it looks so pretty on the Kraft cardstock. 

Lastly I added one of my favorite sentiments, "Thanks a bunch".

I just love the embossing folders that DeNami Designs is carrying now, so I couldn't resist the new Buttons Background, and I had to use it for today's blog hop theme.

I started with a white card base onto which I added my embossed panel from pink cardstock layered to a plain white piece of cardstock. 

I added the sentiment Sending you love in black ink. I added a piece of beautiful crochet trim where the two pieces of cardstock met. I then wrapped a length of pink checked gingham ribbon around the card front and tied in a bow adding a White Boutique button to the center. I created a tag using the Friends Fur-Ever sentiment, using the masking technique. I then stamped the Small Solid Button on the tag in pink ink.

A final finishing touch includes picking out three pink buttons from the Bubblegum Boutique Button Collection.

I have a card that my son is sending to his friend who moved last fall. He has been a bit lost without him. This was something I had started prior to my shoulder injury and I had to simplify my design to finish it up, but perfectly flat and mailable!!!

DeNami January Blog Hop - Valentine

Hello and Welcome! If you are here for the DeNami Blog Hop, you should have arrived from Greta's Blog, and I know she had something fabulous to share! If you are just wondering in or get lost along the way, no worries you can start at the beginning by heading over to the DeNami Design Blog.   If you are new to the blog hops, this month the theme is Valentine and you will be inspired by the design team and fans of DeNami making projects around the theme.

Fleur di Lis Embossing Folder

As you can see, I have pieced together some Valentine papers to an embossed piece of red cardstock and cover my card base. Using white pigment ink, I stamped the Rosevine Heart onto kraft cardstock and heat set my white embossing powder.  I then cut out using a scalloped heart die. 

In the center of the heart, I added a delicate set of satin pink angel wings and a boutique button.  Next I created a fussy seam binding bow adding another boutique button laced with twine just above the heart further embellishing with stick pins. A length of pink ric-rac trim was added where the two pieces of papers meet. I added a paper doily trim to the top of the card. Lastly, I added Hugs & Kisses sentiment which has been stamped in a rose red ink inside a hand-cut banner.

DeNami Design December Blog Hop - Razzle Dazzle

Hi and Welcome to the DeNami Design Razzle Dazzle Blog Hop! I hope this finds you all enjoying your weekend during this busy time of year. We are awaiting our first snow "storm", but usually it's very little or nothing. One thing is for sure…it's cold! We had nearly 70 degree weather earlier this week and today is not suppose to get over 30. CRAZY! Enough small talk….on to why you are here!

I started with a green card base onto which I pieced my patterned paper (which has some razzle dazzle to it) to a sheet of white cardstock. I then stamped the tree from the Winter Fun Stamp Set using an embossing pad adding Gold Embossing Powder and set it with my heat gun. I then added Red Graph Washi Tape just above the embossed trees and added a snowflake metallic trim across the length of the card. 

I stamped, cut, and paper pieced the Large Stocking adding Misty Blue Glitter to the toes, heals and cuff!  I placed the stocking on a gingham bracket die-cut and added to the center of my card. I stamped a sentiment from Holiday Greeting Stamp Set and placed on a banner adding to the center of the stocking. Final finishing touches included adding a few Red Rhinestones to the top of the card and creating a fussy seam binding bow embellished with some tensile, red jingle bells, and a Emerald Green Boutique Button.

DeNami Designs October Blog Hop - Happy Halloween

I love to make fun little projects for Halloween, and I am bringing you something different than a card! I also have to apologize for the poor photography. We have had 6 straight days of rain, and it doesn't look like we are getting dry anytime soon. I had plans to photograph this project outside in natural light. I just wish you could see how cute they are in person. Lighting is terrible in my house.

As you can see, this is a mix of feminine and masculine.  I layered a Kraft panel on a Kraft card base which has been embossed with the Solid Decorative Crest  and dry embossed on the other side with a woodgrain impression folder. 

I created a flower from Kraft Text Paper adding a Sand Boutique Button to the center. Using some twine from the Autumn Twine Pack I created a triple bow to go under the flower. I added my sentiment just above the stamped Harlequin Border.

DeNami Design Summer Splash Blog Hop!

It's my favorite time of year! SUMMER!  

I totally run on solar power, so I am a happy happy girl this time of year!

Here is what I have to share with you! 

I started with a bright, happy full of summer yellow card base onto which I added my patterned papers.  Some fun layers provided a backdrop for my Octopus which was paper-pieced to the center of a double stamped circle stamped in yellow ink using the Under The Sea Stamp set to provide a decoration in the center.. 

The sentiment was stamped and placed just below the focal image. 

A final finishing touch was to wrap a length of Ivory Grosgrain Ribbon around the card face

and tied in a double bow embellishing with an Aqua Boutique Button.
