The Kraft Journal 88 - Lavishly Layer

Hi There!

(This is my second post of the day. For the Shabby Tea Room Guest Design project please click here)

For this week's Lavishly Layer challenge, created a Halloween layered card using some fabulous black and kraft patterned papers that can be found here in The Kraft Outlet store.  A card base of Lunch Bag Kraft was used adding those wonderful layers of Black and Kraft patterned papers.  The glittered witch and sentiment from Making Memories was added to Buff Ivory Cover Weight Cardstock that has been die-cut in a circle to nest perfectly in her scallop circle made from Lunch Bag Kraft .

I hope you play along the Lavishly Layer challenge this week at  The Kraft Journal.  All those that participate in our challenges for the month have a chance to win a $15.00 gift certificate from The Kraft Outlet....and you also get a chance to be considered for The Feature Me Friday artist post on The Kraft Journal blog!

Further Inspiration was found using Sweet Sunday Sketch.

Thank you Melissa for sending me to Mark's Finest Papers - Autumn Fall Challenge

A Friend...

Hi All,

It's been one of those weeks, but I thought I would try and sneak a card I worked on the other evening after putting the little shorty to bed. I hope you checked out the Wilson Designs inspirational sneak peeks. If you are reading this today then you still have time to comment on my post for a chance to win the new release. Just follow down or go here.  Check back tonight at 9:00 p.m. EST for the release.

My card uses the colors from CR84FN color challenge. Kraft, Green, and Brown!
I used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch layout.
I took a plain ol' doily in the baking section and VersaFine Vintage Sepia and sponges it to get the right shade I was looking for!  The beautiful green pattern paper is from a Me and My BIG Ideas paper pack. My Polka Dot was created by yours truly using DeNami Designs Medium Polka Dots.  Two different ribbons are layered for the side panel design and they are both by American Crafts!
The beautiful flower is by Recollections. The sentiment die-cut is from K & Company.

Thanks for taking a look with me today! Hope you have a FABULOUS Wednesday! Hope to see you back tonight!
Hugs!
