Card Patterns - Thank You So Much

Hi sweets!

I can't believe we are in the middle of June already! Wow!

I have a quick card to share with you today.
I started with my favorite, a Kraft card base and then went shopping in my stash of scraps to see what I could come up with. So the patterned papers are a mix from Stampin' UP! to Cosmos Cricket.
The fabulous crochet circle is from my friend Jess. She told me not to hoard them, but it's hard not too! The Card Patterns sketch was perfect for me to go ahead and use one of her treasures. Aren't they gorgeous???

The sentiment is from Inspired By Stamping : Heartfelt Gratitude. I die-cut an apple using my Cricut and added some buttons to embellished the focal image. Finishing touches were a twine bow and button and crochet trim.
Here is the Card Patterns Sketch.

Joining in again at Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Cross Stitch Thank You

Hi There!
I have created a card to share perfect to thank a teacher with a home spun feel using a Cross Stitch stamp.
I took the Card Patterns sketch for the week and tweaked it slightly.
I shopped my stash with some fun papers I had been hoarding and that was the inspiration for this card.   This stamp coordinates nicely with the Spellbinders Labels 3. I love love love stamps and dies that coordinate nicely together.
Some pearls and a button were added to the card for a finishing touch.

As I mentioned, I liked the sketch at Card Patterns, so I found my inspiration for my card there.
Thanks for visiting me today! Hope you have a fantastic Friday!

Inspired By Stamping - May 2012 Day two of peeks!

Hey Peeps~

(This is my second post of the day...to see my Inspired By Stamping Sketch Challenge card click here...I hope you check it out because we really want you to play along!!! )

As promised, I am back with two more peeks from the Inspired By Stamping May release. It's been wonderful reading your comments on the Day 1 creations! Thank you for taking the time to comment with your sweet thoughts.

So let's get started with the two shares I have for you today!

This little number showcases a daisy colored with my prisma colored pencils. It's been awhile since I did a little watercoloring, so I enjoyed breaking those out.  I went with a hot trendy color combination and created my own tag adding some fun checked, gingham patterned paper as a backdrop for the Daisy.  How gorgeous is that sentiment?  This set is called Daisies and will be available for purchase on Friday!!! It comes with 8 stamps and will retail for $15.00.

Moving on to the second make for the day is from a set called Amazing Inspirations.

With both these cards, I have moved away from the pink palettes you see a lot on my blog. With this card I chose to go with a beautiful soothing blue and green palette. The quote and Hope are two separate stamps. A beautiful flourish was added below the quote which is from the Fancy Labels 3 stamp set.
I took a length of vintage seam binding and wrapped around the card front and tied in a fussy bow embellishing with a button, twine, and a tag which features a sentiment from Amazing Inspirations.  This collection comes with 11 stamps and will retail for $15.00.
The back of this card showcases a Handmade By stamp that will be available as a gift with a qualifying purchase.

For Friday's release party, Joanna will be offering free shipping that day only!!! Enter code freeshipping at checkoutAre you interested in winning 3 stamps sets?  Please be sure to head over to Joanna's Blog to learn how!
