Guest Designing today for My Craft Spot

Hi There!

Did you all have a nice Thanksgiving? How many of you folks braved or braving the Black Friday Crowds?  Not this girl....no way! However, SALE ALERT at the end of this post!!!! You can shop in the comfort of your own home!

I am so glad you stopped by today because I am sure excited to share that I am guest designing at My Craft Spot today!

I have three different projects to share with you so let's get started:

Ornate Labels - Christmas: I stamped the Winter Wonderland sentiment inside an oval die-cut. I added the snowflake flourish to the top and bottom to complete the focal image.
Ornate Labels - Christmas and Ornate Label Die: I stamped the frame and sentiment then I used the Label die to cut it out. I took the entire collection of snowflakes that come in the Ornate Labels - Christmas set and added to my acrylic block. I then randomly stamped the snowflakes to the kraft panels which I adhered to the treat box before it was assembled.
The file for the treat box was one I have had and have been meaning to create a project with. I really like how it turned out.
I used my Cricut Doodlecharms Cartridge to cut the images for the other panels of the treat box.
I finished the treat box by embellishing with ribbon, a button and some jingle bells.
Jar Full of Flowers and Ornate Label Die: Switching gears from the holidays, I wanted to share a clean and simple Sympathy card using the Ornate Label Die.
I layered the flowers both on the card base and the die-cut adding a pearl to the center for a finishing touch.
I really hope you enjoyed what I have shared today! I would like to thank Kimberly for having me as her guest designer. I love her products and I am thrilled I got to spotlight a few of them today!

**Kimberly is having a BLACK FRIDAY SALE!!! 10% off everything including sale items!**

A Treat Just For You {Trendy Twine}

Hi ya friends,

I am over on the Trendy Twine Blog today with a fun little treat I created for Halloween featuring Grape Limeade Trendy Twine and a Shorty Candy Chute.

Here is what I made:
I started by decorating a Shorty Candy Chute filled with a few Shimmery Lime Gumballs using the awesome Grape Limeade Trendy Twine.   I created a small stamped tag and tied it to the chute and embellished it with a few purple jingle bells before tying it off in a bow. I created a holder to package my Shorty Candy Chute by hand. I decorated the outside using a background stamp from My Creative Time Fright Night and cuts using the Mini Monster and Doodlecharms Cartridge. The cutie face on the spider comes from Peachy Keen Stamps Simple Sallies Face Assortment.

I use Grape Limeade Trendy Twine to keep the flap close.  To open, you just slip out the front cover.

The picture below shows how the treat sits in the holder.
I just pushed the twine down a bit so that you could read the enclosed sentiment. To close, you just slide the twine up a bit and bring your front flap down. Your twine is what keeps the flap closed. It's not only decorative, but it serves a purpose! That's some bang for your buck! :-)

Paper Sweeties July Release Day!

Hi there!

Today is the day that you can purchase Paper Sweeties newest sets.  Hopefully you have hopped around the last two days to gain some inspiration from the team.  We will be showcasing more from the sets today.  Check back tomorrow as we will have a rewind post that will include new mixed in with some of the older sets.
I am just loving sweet and bright colors this summer!  This set showcases Paper Sweeties Summer Fun!  I used two sentiments and stamped them inside the polk-a-dot frame.

I took a length of yellow grosgrain ribbon and wrapped it around the card front and tied off in a bow and embellished with a bright pink button and a pearl.   I die-cut a popsicle using my Cricut Doodlecharms cartridge and added some yummy glitter!

Please don't forget to stop by the Paper Sweeties blog, as well as the rest of the team's blog to see what they created for you.

I am personally joining in at Moxie Fab World - Mixy-Matchy, Craftin' Desert Diva's - Summer Linky Party, Sunday {Fun}day - Linky Pary, An Inky Situation - Anything Goes, Link Up Tuesday - Linky Party
