Hello Friend

Hello!

**Woohoo Moment This card was a winner at Inspired By Stamping 3/28/12**

I hope your Tuesday is starting off Terrific!

I started this card by adhering an aqua, polka-dotted, patterned paper along with a soft pink layer trimmed with pinking shears to a piece of Kraft cardstock. I then added a strip of turquoise Damask paper from the Cupcake Craftroom to the right side of my card face. A row of raspberry felt hearts were die cut.  A section was applied to the top center of my card adding some beautiful pearls. A heart doily was inked in tumbled glass and adhered to the card front.
I wrapped some raspberry twine around the card face just above the lace trim and scalloped die cut that has been given a touch of paint. A Wilson Designs "Hello Friend" sentiment tag was applied to my bow and finished and dressed up with a raspberry flower button!

A burlap cutout was adhered to the center of the card and garnished with various diecut felt flower embellishments!

My Inspiration for this card came from:

Thank you so much for stopping by!
I hope your day is filled with sunshine!

You're Sun-Sational

Hi!

Who could use a bit of summery bliss right now?  I could...I am not complaining too much because I believe by all accounts it's been mild this winter. I may just have jinxed us and Mother Nature may come bearing down.

Well, I have a fun little beachy card for you today! I made this for a friend who has worked hard on taking care of herself and has got back in shape and has a whole new body physique. She looks "Sun-Sational" and I wanted to let her know.
The colors I chose were inspired by the patterned paper I found in my stash.  The card base I am not sure of because it was also in my stash, but my guess is retired Stampin' UP! Green Galore. I used sand paper for the dune. All stamped images except the sun are from Wilson Designs: Teeny Bikini and the sun is from Wilson Designs Nauti-Cool. I just love what a fun little card this is.
I am joining in the fun at The Craft Place challenge - Oh I love to be beside the seaside and Lily Pad Cards - Patterned Paper challenge, Cupcake Craftroom - New Beginnings, and another swing this week with Di at Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge. :-)

Some Happy News: I am staying on another term with Wilson Designs as a Senior Design Team Member! So exciting!
Thanks for stopping in today!

Robot Birthday Card

Hi there!

My son has been invited to a birthday party so I need to make a quick and simple card for a little boy. What boy doesn't like Robots and Yay me for using more scraps! However, I doubt he will notice the card and just be interested in the gift.

I went back and forth on coloring and/or more paper piecing and decided: A: He's not gonna take the time to look at it or care and B: I like the simplicity of just having the heart paper pieced.
The stamps I used are from The Angel Company and I believe sadly they are no longer in business. The patterned paper is scraps, but from The Yellow Bicycle Zach's Life Collection and I am guessing retired since I have had it for ages.

I am adding this to the Lily Pad Cards - Patterned Paper Challenge which is to use up those patterned papers and Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge. Ok, why is it that my stash is not lessening? Ha! I am sure Di is tired of seeing me in her playground for the third time this week.

Thanks for spending a bit of your Thursday with me.
~Tammy~

With Deepest Sympathy

Hi There!

Sympathy cards are not my favorite to make.  Unfortunately, I actually needed to make this card for someone. L

I used the Hero Arts Peacock cling stamp.  I added some rhinestones to the peacock's tail.  The sentiment is from Stampendous. A length of seam binding, was added horizontal to the card and finished off in a bow.  The sentiment panel was placed on top and then I added a button and twine to the center of the bow to complete this card.
I used Lily Pad Cards Sketch for my layout.
That's it for me, I hope you have a great start to your Memorial Day weekend. Let us remember those who have served for our right to freedom and also use this as a time to reflect and remember those loved ones who have passed away.
Have a good night!
