Fawned Wishes {The Kraft Journal #196 Critters}

Hello and Good Monday Morning to you!

We have a new challenge at The Kraft Journal this week, and I have to admit I had a hard time deciding what to create for it because it's a fun one. There were so many things I wanted to do, but I finally decided on using my Cricut to cut this adorable Fawn.

I cut the fawn using Light Kraft Cover WeightBrown Kraft Cover Weight, and Blackboard Stock Paper.  The cardstocks at The Kraft Outlet cut very well with all electronic machines. I then used Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock to create an A2 card base.  I cut a circle and a wavy circle using My Creative Time Bunch of Circle Dies out of patterned paper from my scrap stash.  I then added them to the left of the card front trimming off the excess.
Next I took a length of the dyed Butter Biased Tape leftover from this project and wrapped it around the top of the card front and tied in a bow embellishing with a flower.  Last, I stamped the Fawned Wishes sentiment from Wilson Designs in the lower right corner with Vintage Sepia Ink adding a stamped mushroom also from the same set and enamel dots for a finishing touch.

Please be sure to head over to the The Kraft Journal to check out the projects by the other talented ladies.  We hope to see your "Critter" creations in the gallery this week for your chance to be featured on our "Feature me Friday" post as well as be entered to win a $15.00 gift voucher from The Kraft Outlet store.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Paper Sweeties April Release Day

Hey there!

Well we've come to the April Paper Sweeties release day. All the new items are available in the store as you read this. :-))).  I'm here to share another project using Happy Everything. As you can see, I have jumped way ahead, or I am way behind. :-) How about a Thanksgiving card?  I may be the only one on the DT showcasing those holidays that are a wee bit down the road, so yes, you are in the right place!
 I created a fun little turkey using the Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge, fall papers, and a gingham bow and voila a sweet little Thanksgiving card.
The Happy Everything Set has so many possibilities and uses. As I have shown here with the release, you can use this set in conjunction with various die-cuts, but works perfectly as it's on focal point for whatever celebration you are highlighting.

I'm happy you could visit with me today. Please join my teammates for the Paper Sweeties release blog hop!

Embellish Magazine Color Challenge **Baby Theme**

I am back with another Embellish Magazine Color Challenge with a baby theme. The colors we are to use are Yellow, Cream, Peach, and Green.

My inspiration came from my son's nursery! The theme in his room was Moons and Stars.

I used cream as my card base and layered peach on top of that which I found in my scrap box.  While rummaging through my scrap box I challenged myself to see if I could finish the rest of my card using my scraps. Sure enough everything I needed was in there. {yeah}

I stamped the peach card stock with Papertrey Ink's Polka Dot Basic's II using VersaMark Ink. I used the Cricut to cut the stars and moon. I used my Divine Swirls embossing folder to add texture to the top star! I added foam mounting squares to add dimension to the Star.

Thank you to W Plus 9 Design Studio for sponsoring this Challenge.
Warm Aloha and Blessings!
Tammy
