Happy Birthday - DeNami Color Challenge

Hello

How's your weekend been going?

I thought I would pop on with a DeNami Designs Color Challenge Card today. I made a more simplistic card (for me).
I started with the largest oval die and stamped the Elegant Floral Arch in Pumpkin Orange Ink on both ends of the oval. I used the Happy Birthday sentiment included in the All Occasions Stamp set.
A brown satin bow was embellished with a Tangerine Button and twine and added to center portion of the card.

I added a piece of beautiful sage green flourish designer papers from Cupcake Cards and Gifts to serve as the beautiful mat for my focal image. The card base is DeNami Designs Chocolate Brown Cardstock.

As mentioned I am joining in the DeNami Designs Color Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by,
~Tammy~

Hello

Hello!

**Yay! This card made Top 3 in the DeNami Designs Spotlight on 6/29/12**

Two nights in a row of crafty time! Yay! My DH had to work last night, so after the little was in bed, I snuck to the craft room for a bit! It is late, so I am going to keep this short and sweet as possible.

My focal image is from DeNami Designs and the stamp is called Decorative Crest Circle.   I used alpha beads to spell out the sentiment in the center. Pretty fun right?!?! The doily at the bottom was hand-dyed a light shade of gray.
My absolute favorite embellishment on this card is the crochet circle from my friend Jessi.  She won't let me hoard them, but it's sooo hard not to. They are sooo beautiful, so it makes me happy to use them! She does absolutely amazing work.

Inspiration for my card comes from the DeNami Designs Color Challenge
As mentioned, short and sweet. I need to get some sleep! I have a very active little one who will be jumping at the bit to get outside as soon as his feet hit the ground.

Till next time,
~Tammy~

Happy Birthday Sweet Friend

Hi there blog friends!

I have a sweet, fun and colorful birthday card to share today. Much needed as we are back to cloudy dreary weather. Makes me go blah, so I have to make my own sunshine! They are calling for sun in the forecast, but we will see.
I think color blocking makes such a fun background.
For my focal image, I thought the pedestal  by DeNami Designs would make the perfect fancy stand
for DeNami's Birthday Cake image.
I added the Sweet Friend Birthday sentiment to the lower
right corner. I completed the card by
adding some fun bright buttons and rounding
the corners of the card.
I thought I would join in the DeNami Fun for their latest color challenge.
My flash was working overtime for the cloudy day, so the colors look a tad brighter than they are, but so cheerful and fun I think!

I am adding this to Craft Your Passion: Anything Goes.

Thanks for stopping by today!

DeNami Designs Color Challenge #8

Hey there!!!
I am so happy to be joining you today as DeNami Designs
I have been wanting to spill the beans
on this news for some time and so happy
to be joining along a fabulous
design team to bring you
chosen by the very talented Dana Seymour!
Aren't these colors perfect for fall?
I started by creating a card base using DeNami Designs
I stamped and paper pieced the
Small Pumpkin on a diecut scalloped
circle which I trimmed with embroidery floss and
The boutique buttons come in so many
fun colors and they make a great addition to
any creation.
No card is complete without a sentiment,
and I love the waving message
I hope you will come play with us
because I can't wait to see your take
on the colors!
Head over to DeNami Designs
for the challenge details and to be
inspired by the DeNami Design Team!

DeNami Designs Color Challenge Meets Sketchy Sunday

Good Saturday Morning to you!

Sooooo, I needed a birthday card for an adorable little boy for friends of ours back in Hawaii, so I thought I would combine a twofer and create one adorable little card! J
First of all, I just Love this little guy! He is so fun and CAUTE! (that actually goes for the boy and the elephant stamp {wink})

I added some twine at the top with a button! The twine graduates in color from white to lime green! So fun!

That's it for me! I hope the little guy likes it, but if he is anything like most boys, they want the package!! J  Oh well!

DeNami Color Challenge #5

DeNami Design Blog is having a Color Challenge
and I decided to join along in the fun!
Aren't those beautiful fall Colors?
I was truly inspired by the creation on the DeNami
Design Team. Be sure to check out their work
if you haven't had a chance to do so.
I love the Small Pumpkin obviously!
I added the Happy Thanksgiving greeting
along with the DeNami Boutique Buttons to
the bottom of my card.
In my ribbon stash I had some brown
ribbon with beautiful orange pumpkins
that I thought added the right amount of
color to top of the card. I just
love mixing it up and I I enjoyed
this color challenge!
I have a busy day ahead as it's my son's birthday!
Nothing like your child's birthday to make
you realize how time does fly!
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs!

DeNami Color Challenge #4

Aloha~

I am excited to slide this card in at the last minute for the current DeNami Color Challenge.  I love the colors Michele from the DeNami Design Team chose.

I don't currently own any DeNami products yet, so I have not been able to play in their challenges. I just recently discovered their products through the wonderful inspiration of many of the design team blogs and other friends.

So, here is my card for the color challenge. Out of respect for DeNami Designs, and since I don't have any of their stamps yet, I created a note card for any occasion without a stamped sentiment on it just to focus on the colors. I liked how it turned out.

Here is what I came up with...

Have a wonderful day!
