MPS Father's Day Card Challenge

Happy Memorial Day Weekend Everyone! I hope we all take this time to reflect upon those who have served this great nation past and present! I just want to say thank you for putting yourself in harms way to protect my beliefs and freedoms!
Now onto the card:
I started with a standard A2 size card in Riding Hood Red, I then added a layer of Whisper White card stock and rounded the edges and used the vintage touch tea dye from Papertrey Ink to give it that antique look. I added another layer of designer paper by Little Yellow Bicycle.
The shaped piece behind the truck was cut using Just Because Cards (Radish cut) at 5 3/4 using my gypsy I also used the vintage touch tea dye to antique the edges, and the Pick Up Truck was cut at 5 1/2 also from Just Because Cards.
The Sentiment is from Trendy Greeting: The Angel Company
I am grateful for the challenge because it got me on the ball to make my first "Dreaded Man Card". Since it was Memorial Day Weekend I was in a Very Patriotic Mood!
All righty there you have it...my first attempt at a blog post.
Blessings,
Tammy

Here it goes...

I can't believe I am going to be writing and posting to world but here goes nothing! I can't promise I will always keep up with things as life is very hectic for me, but I will always do my best! I am about to give this a shot and see where it takes me! As a mother of a very rambuncious child takes on a life of it's own and creativity fits in where it can!
