10 Minute Craft Dash # 11 with DeNami Designs

Hello Friends!

I am sharing a card I made very quickly for the 10 Minute Craft Dash which is sponsored by DeNami Designs Stamps.  The DeNami Design Team was invited to play along. The challenge this go around is to Feature Hearts!

I am no stranger to the 10 Minute Challenge.  I like it because it pushes me out of my comfort zone. I have to admit, my card is very CAS this time around not my usual style, but I did die-cut, stamp, punch, and embellish.  Keep in mind we have less than 10 minutes to finish a card from start to finish.

I started with a black card base onto which I layered a Buff Ivory Cardstock. Next, I had to quickly die-cut a tag from Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock and stamp my stitched heart from the Petit Fours Heart Stamp Set using Versamark Ink. On a separate piece of Buff Ivory Cardstock, I stamped the Gingham Background in Satin Red Ink and punched it out with a heart punch and mounted it on my stamped tag.  A length of black and white polka-dot ribbon was tied in a knot and added to the lower portion of the tag.  At the top of the tag, a length of black hemp twine was added to complete the design look.

Lastly, a sentiment from the Love Sentiment Petit Four set was added to the lower right corner of the card front.

Time to Completion

Want to give it a try?  There is a great prize involved!
Be sure to check out all the details at the 10 Minute Craft Dash
I am also adding this to Papercraft Star - Hearts/love
Thank you for popping by today!
