Good Morning Friends,
It's the first day of school here, but I am still hanging on to summer as long as I can!
Today, I have a new card to share with you this week for The Kraft Journal's Color Challenge. I took the color inspiration literally "Watermelon" I started by using Blackboard Stock Paper for the card base which I layered a red cardstock and a black and white polka dot patterned paper.
I took a length of Red Baker's Twine
and wrapped it around the card front several times tying off in a bow. I stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment (My Creative Time) in a stitched oval label die (MCT)
and placed just above the Red Baker's Twine. Next I die-cut some decorative layered label dies to be the backdrop for the watermelon. I used the Preserves Cricut Cartridge to cut it out.
Here is the color inspiration for this week.
