It's Day 2 of the Paper Sweeties January release, and I am back sharing a little cupcake box. I can't resist cupcakes, so I loved making a sweet little decorated box with the soon to be released Paper Sweeties Sending Sweet Thoughts and Sending Sweet Thoughts Sweet Cuts.
Everyone knows just how much I love cupcakes, but not as much as those dear to me. I just love this sentiment and felt it was perfect to tie up my cupcake box.
I used the colors in the cupcake ribbon as my inspiration and built the front based on those colors. I cut the cupcake from pale pink cardstock and stamped in brown ink. I die-cut the liner electing not to use the stamp liner stamp that coordinates with it to show different ways/looks of this stamp and coordinating die set. I die-cut the frosting in white adding pink dew drops and glitter. Yummy. Baker's twine only seemed fitting to go with this project, so I finished off with a Baker's Twine bow and used it as well to tie my tag to the top.
I hope you enjoyed my share today! Be sure to check out the projects from the ladies below to see how they are using the January Release.
I am joining in at Just B Creative - January Linky Party, Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes, The Ribbon Carousel - Love, Birthdays, and Chicken Soup!
I will be back tomorrow with a clean and simple card for release day! Thursday will be our "rewind" project to wrap things up.
