The Kraft Journal 121 - Red, White OR Blue - Happy Birthday

For today's "Red, White, OR Blue" challenge at The Kraft Journal, I went with the color RED. Red looks fantastic with Kraft, but so does, Black and Kraft and White and Kraft.... well anything looks great with Kraft. :-)  For today's card, I started with a Kraft Cover weight card base onto which I added the red and white stripe patterned paper. I die-cut an oval using a Floral Oval Nestabilities die out of red card stock and placed it in the center. 

Next I cut various lengths of banners and stamped sentiments from Paper Sweeties Enjoy Your Day in red ink. I have lots of paper flowers in my stash, so I thought it would be fun to add a row along the center. To complete the look, I  tied a double bow by using a length of Natural Twill Tape which I further embellished with a button and Red and White Baker's Twine.
