Happy Birthday Card Made in Minutes {The Kraft Journal}

Hey there Friends!

The challenge this week at The Kraft Journal is Made In Minutes! We want to see your Clean and Simple designs using either Kraft cardstock or supplies from The Kraft Outlet.

I wanted to show how it was easy to put the card together so quickly by sharing a quick snap shot of some of my supplies before I put the card together.  I sometimes have extra die-cuts either from changing my mind in the design process or sometimes I will take extra cardstock or designer paper snippets and die-cut shapes to use them up with dies I use frequently and I keep them in their respective die-cut ziplock as you see below.
I started with a base of Brown Kraft Cardstock which I matted on Buff Ivory cardstock that was already cut to size. I cut the scrap of stripe patterned paper I had in my stash in half and added it to the left side of the card front. I then took a length of Orange Baker's Twine and wrapped it vertically around the card and tied it in a bow. Next I took out two of the star die-cuts and layered them adding a cute stamped face from Peachy Keen Everyday Character Assortment to the center adding a few coloring details to the face. Lastly, I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from My Creative Time Card Sentiments onto the Buff Ivory cardstock in black ink.

Please be sure to head over to the The Kraft Journal to check out the projects by the other talented ladies.  We hope to see your Made in Minutes creations in the gallery this week for your chance to be featured on our "Feature me Friday" post as well as be entered to win a $15.00 gift voucher from The Kraft Outlet store.

Have a wonderful Week!
~Tammy~

SUPER DUPER CUTE, Tammy! And thanks for the tip about storing those extra die-cuts!! I have a bazillion piled up in a tray on my craft table. I never use them. I'm betting I would actually use them if I adopted your practice of storing them with their respective dies! YAY!

Sweet Tammy, I'm so happy to be spending time on your blog today (although I certainly hope to never get behind again)! How sweet is this card?! I love your papers and those stars are precious! PK faces make everything sweeter and he looks quite cozy in the beautiful stitched star. You're such a talented cookie. It's not easy to do CAS, yet you do it seamlessly. :o) You are always inspiring, as your lovely heart sparkles through everything you make!
