Snowflakes and more Snowflakes

Happy Monday Morning to you!

How are your holiday preparations going?

If you are looking for The Kraft Journal post, I will be back with one next week. The Kraft Journal is taking a week off for the Christmas Holiday. However, I have a sweet little greeting to share with you this morning. I usually don't send many New Years Cards, but I thought I would share one I have made for you today.

I started with a base of Medium Kraft Cardstock which I added a piece of embossed snowflake patterned paper to a panel of white embossed cardstock adding a length of pink ric rac trim in the center.
A layered tag was die-cut adding a Happy New Year sentiment. For the falling snow on the tag I used DeNami Design Small Dot Square in blue ink. A fussy bow was created embellished with an aqua button, and glittered bells. I die-cut a snowflake and I added some glitter for a touch of winter glitz. I took the Medium Brushed Snowflake and stamped it in Versa Fine Ink onto a circle cut from Medium Kraft Cardstock adding aqua embossing powder which was heat set.

Inspiration for this card came from Curtain Call - Sweet Snowflakes.

This is just adorable Tammy! I am loving those colors and the mix of white and kraft. Such a fun combo of snowflakes, too, with the paper, embossing, and die cuts. The added glitter is the perfect touch!

I don't send New Year's cards usually either, but I'm so far behind on my own mailings this year that I think a bunch of winter & NY cards are in my near future :) This is stunning - the pastels are such a unique touch for a NY card (almost always with the black & metallic, you notice that?) I hope that you & your beautiful family have a wonderful holiday together :)

Gorgeous winter card. Love this color combination. Thanks for stopping by. In regards to the vinyl...I had a friend give me some Cricut vinyl, which is relatively thick and durable. The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby is terribly thin. I also found some at Joanns in long single sheets that was quite thick and durable too (It was on clearance for less than 25 cents a sheet.). I tell people to hand wash the tumblers rather than place them in the dishwasher and no one has complained yet about peeling. Good Luck!

Happy New Years,
Georgiana
