Watch Us Wednesday at The Kraft Journal - Gift Packaging! {2nd Post}

Hey Friends,

This is my second post this morning! For the DeNami Design Product Spotlight, click here. I hope you will come back to see this cute packaging idea. :-)

It's my turn to share a fun little packaging idea at The Kraft Journal today.  This can be accomplished by using some items from The Kraft Outlet as well as items you may have hanging around in your stash!  The Kraft Outlet sells Lunch Bag Kraft CD Pockets that can be altered to make cutie pie packaging for any occasion, but today I am sharing an idea for Christmas. There is always someone to send a little goody to this time of year, and why not make the packaging special?

I started with a Lunch Bag Kraft CD Pocket and added papers to the front just like I would a card.  At the bottom, I trimmed a piece of Buff Ivory Cardstock to stamp some darling Peppermints in red ink along the bottom. I added some pom pom and sequins from my stash for an eye catching touch.  I die-cut a doily from Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock and added a portion of it to the top of the card.
At the top, I took a length of Natural Twill Tape and wrapped it around the CD Holder and tied in a bow embellishing with Red Baker's Twine, a button, and berries and a leaf from my stash. The front was dressed up with some chenille candy canes, and a jar of Gingerbread Men.  The Jar and the Gingerbread Men were both stamped and cut from Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock and Buff Ivory Cardstock.  Both the Jar and the candy canes were wrapped with some Natural Hemp Cord.  All that is left is to fill your pocket with goodies to ensure a smile on someone's face!

Be sure to check out the wonderful products at The Kraft Outlet

I am sharing at: Word Art Wednesday - Anything GoesSunday {Fun}day - November Linky Party, The Ribbon Carousel - Holidays and Celebrations,  Just B Creative - Linky Party, Paper Playtime - Anything Goes, Paper Issues - Christmas.

Thank you for visiting me!

Tammy,
This is beautiful, but it started me thinking about how clever you are. To give a DVD with family pictures of just a movies as a gift. You have gone the extra mile with the decorations. Again I say thank you for sharing your beautiful creation with us today. It will start many people heading off to The Kraft Journal. Blessings,

Oh Tammy, you always come up with the perfect project. I think this would be good for baked goods too on a craft gift bag

I just love pockets, and this one is filled with goodies and decorated SO beautifully! The Kraft Journal has the best bags ever for making these little lovelies, and I thank you for the inspiration. I hope to whip up a couple of these this afternoon. Thanks for sharing this at Word Art Wednesday - it's SUCH a treat to have you share your projects with us Tammy. I can't even tell you. THANKS!

By the way, I had a lot of fun on the little DeNami blog hop. Every gal on your DT did such a different and creative card with their stamp set. It's a really sweet little set.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving and eat LOTS of mashed potatoes and stuffing!
Hugs,
Karen
