Hello Friends!
I am sharing a card I made very quickly for the 10 Minute Craft Dash which is sponsored by DeNami Designs Stamps. The DeNami Design Team was invited to play along. The challenge this go around is to Feature Buttons.
The 10 Minute Craft Dash always pushes me out of my comfort zone. I have a hard time with being happy with simple cards. I knew this would be a challenge for me knowing we were to feature buttons and not lace mine with twine like I usually do. I racked my brain and come up with a way to use plenty of buttons that would look okay and not finished off with twine. :-)
I will show you my card first and then talk about my process:
I started with what I thought I would use:
And my final time: 9:58 Eek almost 9:59
It was a bit too close for my comfort.
I started with a pumpkin orange card base, and cut a piece of pattern paper from my stash. Using the left over pumpkin card stock, I die-cut a frame to stamp my Large Winter Tree from DeNami Design in chocolate chip ink adding to the center of the card. I then added my buttons randomly using glue dots. I stamped my sentiment from DeNami Design in pumpkin spice ink onto a strip of Buff Ivory Cardstock and cut into a banner adding to the lower portion of the card.
Don't let the 10 minute craft dash scare you! You can pull your supplies first and there is a fabulous prize up for grabs! So give it a shot!
