The Ribbon Reel 48 - Thinking of You

Hi!

It's another challenge at the The Ribbon Reel! Helen is our host and the theme for the next two weeks is "Romantic Elegance" she would like you to make a card or project using the colors in the inspiration photo plus Flowers and Ribbon!

I started with a lilac card base onto which I added my pretty floral patterned paper. I cut a wide strip of gorgeous eggplant patterned paper that was in my snippet pile to add to the center of my card to add some contrast of the floral print.  I used the grosgrain center stitched ribbon in Lilac to border where the papers meet. 

I took a length of American Beauty Seam Binding ribbon and wrapped it around the card front horizontally and tied in a fussy bow and embellished with a White Cherry Blossom Flower all from The Ribbon Reel Store.  There is a selection of so many beautiful, ribbons, flowers and so much more take a virtual waltz over and enjoy.

The stamps I used are from Waltzingmouse Stamps Compact Sentiments Two and I added a sweet butterfly embellished with some beautiful lavender pearls.
