Live In the Moment

Hello!

Hope you have had a great weekend! Yesterday I was copped up with a sick little one and a husband that got called in on a mission, so it's not exactly what we visioned, but hey that's life. It was just gorgeous out, so it stunk sitting inside knowing it was a perfect spring day. It also didn't leave anytime for playing with paper so I am burning those midnight hours again. However, the "little" seems to be getting better. Pretty bummed he had to miss a birthday party.

So, I have a card that uses a variety of stamps.  I love to mix and match brands and collections just to achieve the finishing product I am looking for.
I started with a rustic cream card base. I added a trimmed Whisper White layer and distressed the edges. I stamped the dress form from Crafty Secrets Material Girl in a Charcoal Gray.  In the upper left corner, I stamped two hearts from Crafty Secrets French Mail in New Sprout ink by Momento.  The fancy little decorative design at the bottom is also from the same stamp set.

I added some seam binding tied in a fussy bow adding a button and curly twine. The sentiment is from Hero Arts Cuckoo Clocks and was nested on a Fleur de Lis Spellbinder die cut square.

The old fashioned bobbin is from Crafty Secrets which was stamped in a Bubble Gum pink and fussy cut.  To give it some realistic texture I wrapped some twine and adhered to my card face with a dimensional.

I created this with inspiration from these challenges.
Just Us Girls: Color Challenge
Retrosketches: I took some creative liberty with flipping the sketch and moving the two elements at the top. :-))))
That's it for me!
