I just love the rockabilly feel of this set.
Here is a quick shot of the sentiment
panel up close!
Edit to note on the sentiment below: The grammatical error below WILL NOT be on the final set for sale tomorrow! Rest easy! J
Next up is a fun little basket I created perfect for Father's Day! I call it a "Little Bit Country and a Little Bit Rock-N-Roll" Since we are buying a "new" older house, I figured the short stuff could give Daddy-O a Home Depot Gift Card for Father's Day. {Good Thing he doesn't read my blog}
Since the hubs is in the Army I thought it fitting to go with Patriotic colors and it really seems fitting given the recent days events!!!!
Now on to the Next Set!
If you love experimenting with building your own background, then that is what I have in store for you.
My first card is a bright, fun and cheery card inspired by a couple of things: Kim's logo which always incorporates hot air balloons, and a hot air balloon festival we went to in my home town a few weeks ago.
Creating a hot air balloon shape, I then stamped the polka dot background builder to create my own pink polka dot pattern. Next I strung some beautiful pacific blue twine to the balloon basket which is stamped with the houndstooth background builder also in this new set. Do you like those fun clouds? I stamped and fussy cut them from Ride Away With Me and since I am in love with this houndstooth background pattern I added it to the clouds. Why not? Enjoy the Ride is one of the sentiments you get to look forward to in this fun new set. I couldn't help but add dare I say a "cute" little bow to the corner!
My final card is another way to focus on the background builders.
I saw that Teacher Appreciation is coming up, so this gave me an idea to create a fun little card to let your favorite teacher know they are appreciated. "You're Awesome" is the perfect sentiment for such an occasion.
Wohoo! That's all for today! I hope you enjoyed Day 1 projects, but you need to keep on hopping and commenting for your chance to win these fabulously fun stamps from Wilson Designs. I would love to hear what you think! Don't forget to come back tomorrow night for more inspiration and the release!

Hi Tammy!! You did a great job using those backgrounds!! I love the teacher appreciation card....I need to make one of those myself. :)
Awesome cards Miss Tammy!! Hope all is well...
Squeal! I love the new stamps...I was just looking at a houdstooth stamp yesterday. I LOVE your cards--you rocked it! And the basket--yikes--too cute!!
Look at all these cards! I hope you were having fun with your crafting time. Of all the fun cards you showed today, my fave is the apple. Don't know why, it just speaks to me! (hugs)
Super cute! I LOVE the new background builders and the rock set is really neat!
Fantastic cards, Tammy! And I adore that sweet, little, Daddy-O basket! Just perfect!
Loving the balloon and the apple! I can see that the girly set is going to be a must-have! Great projects today!
Wow Tammy! I adore everything you've shown here!!

I love your projects, especially that card with the glasses....cute!
Wonderful stuff!!
Love them!
But I spotted the Teacher Appreciation card right away...
truly LOVE it!
Love the super cool shades! Great job.
Such great cards. But the "your the best" on the guitar basket should read "You're the best". I hope that's not a typo on her stamp set!
These are fabulous, Tammy! I really love the Daddy-O gift you made for your husband! (But like Amber, I also noticed the grammatical error.) I love how you used the sentiments in the first card, too. This release seems like so much fun. I can't wait to see the full reveal!
I especially love that little carton adorned by guitars and musical notes - adorable!
Loving the background builders! I like making my own patterned papers to suit my needs so this is wonderful. Your little take out container is SUPER!!! Those 1950's cats eye glasses are so darn cute!
Sorry 'bout the spider scare. :) Love the sentiment panel on the first card - those glasses are fabulous! And I'm in love with that houndstooth pattern as well. I can see that getting a whole lot of use! :)
Great cards! Can't wait to see the full sets. :)
Oooh, fun projects Tammy! And thanks for the heads up on the error...it's good to know it won't be in the sets!
I really love your houndstooth apple card...clever and fun.
All of these cards are SUPER CUTE, Tammy! I think you did a fabulous job of showcasing the new stamp sets!!! That hot air balloon you created is absolutely DARLING!!! Totally makes me smile!! Fantastic work!
Oh my goodness, Tammy. Your projects are adorable, but I especially love that houndstooth apple. Too cute!
Such fun cards!! I love that musical ribbon really makes the card! :> And Daddy-o is cute!
These are great! I just love what you did with the new sets! ;D
Tammy, so many cards to comment on! WOW! LOVE them ALL, especially Happy Birthday Little Darlin with the felt musical note and that FAB ribbon and then the glitter ribbon! GREAT colors, too!
These are all great- but that houndstooth apple makes me giddy!!! :)
These are all super, Tammy! I especially like the music ribbon and little note embellishment that you used on the first card. They're perfect!
Beautiful cards, love what you have done with these lovely stamps, I have never heard of them before. I am going to check them out!
