Hi!
{Edit to note: This card made The Shabby Tea Room's Honorable Mention Cup of Tea! Yay! Thank you so much!}
Back with another Halloween card! I fell short of having time to make enough Halloween cards this year.
Personally, I am not a skull and crossbone kind of girl, but with the glitter goodness I made an exception! I actually really heart these embellishments from Making Memories. I have enjoyed playing with them this year, and I even picked up some more packs, so don't be surprised if I play around with them next year.

I used inspiration from The Shabby Tea Room which was a Halloween theme using purple, black, orange, neutrals along with twine or raffia. Did you know you don't have to make a shabby card to play along there?
Inspiration photo by The Shabby Tea Room.
I started with black card stock, adding a cream layer, then adding a mixture of patterned papers followed by punching a scalloped border at the bottom. I used a candy image along the bottom from Crafty Secrets Costume Cuties.
I wanted to add raffia especially since I just scored a brand new sealed in the package bag from a thrift shop for 50 cents. It is a big bag too! I just couldn't make it work with the focal image cuts I already had, so twine it is! I cut a doily die cute from My Favorite Things and used distress inks to add the purple. I completed the card by adding a diecut circle to the center of my doily and embellishing with those fun Making Memories glittery images.
I am also going to play over at Ribbon Carousel Halloween theme and Really Reasonable Ribbons Fun for Fall!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I wish you a spooky kind of day!
