Hi There!

Hope this finds your week going well!

I have a very quick and very simple card for you, but using some very COOL stamps none the less which makes putting together a fast card a cinch! My Mom was invited to a baby shower, so I made her a card to take.

The sailboat I paper pieced is from Wilson Designs Nauti-Cool and that adorable Polaroid Frame is from Everything's Owl Right set also by Wilson Designs. The Baby sentiment is from DeNami Designs.  Again, this card looks way better in real life, but I thought it would be fun to share with you today and fun to link up to My Craft Spot: Bundle of Joy.

My Craft Spot Challenge 4

Good Friday everyone!

It's a glorious day and I hope everyone is going to be able to spend time with friends and family this Easter weekend! I am a little sad as the hubs won't be with us, but not too much longer. We have family in town and it's been wonderful catching up with them, so that is part why I have not been able to post and the other part has been because I have started working on getting ready for things I can't share yet. tee hee!

I have a quick card for you for a challenge at My Craft Spot. The challenge is to create a Get Well Card! I always need those in my stash! Kimberly creates beautiful cards with her Cricut, and I miss mine so much at the moment!

In the photograph my beautiful fluffy bow looks squashed, but it's not! I love you cardmakers who are able to photograph your cards so beautifully! :-)

Well, we are off to enjoy a Marine Discover Cruise and hopefully we will see some dolphins and manatees!

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Happy Anniversary CAS

Happy Saturday!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend! Ours is event packed for sure, but I found time to sneak in some crafty time, but it had to be a clean and simple card! I took my little one to an Easter Egg hunt this morning, and I am so proud of him...he found the Golden Egg! Yay! He turned it in for a Clifford the Big Red Dog stuffed animal! Now we are off to see the Easter Bunny!

My Aunt and Uncle are celebrating their anniversary today, so I made this card for them.  Last year was their golden anniversary! So this makes 51! Wow!
I used a little photo and sketch inspiration along with some awesome Wilson Design Stamps
I always love Judith's inspirations over at JayGee's Nook.
A great CAS sketch from Clean & Simple Sunday
to make a fun little card for a great couple who have been happy for many years!
I used Wilson Designs' Ride Away with Me for the focal image, and the sentiment is from Spring Silhouettes . The flower embellishments are from Michael's.

When I was little, I always wanted my tires to be the same color as my bike, so that is why I colored them in the same as the bike! Fun I think!

That's it for me as I have to scoot and get my little man to see the Easter Bunny! I hope everyone is enjoying each other during this wonderful time of year!

HB2U!

**This is my second post of the day, for my Off the Wall Craftiness Post please go here. Thank you! :-)**

Hi!

I am always in need of Birthday Cards, so I like to make extra because I never know when I may need one in a pinch. I took this opportunity to a combine a couple of challenges to make a quick card today.

I am using the sketch layout from Skipping Stones Designs 72. The colors from CR84FN.
Photobucket
I am also going to enter this card at My Craft Spot, where the challenge is to create a birthday card with a tag. This worked out perfect since that was part of the layout for SSD layout! Love it when that happens! My sentiment is from Wilson Designs Gnomebody Like You. My paper is an assortment. The cream polka dot is from American crafts, The pink stripe was still on my table left over from working on my Off the Wall Craftiness Project. It was a paper pack from Me & My Big Ideas. The Pink Medium Polka Dot Strip is from DeNami Designs.
I hope you have a great weekend! I hope to take the short stuff to an easter egg hunt this weekend!

OTWC 51 Some Bunny Loves You

Hello! A happy Friday to you!!!  Are you ready for the weekend?

I am here with a new Off The Wall Craftiness Challenge! This week the theme is Easter and it will be here before you know it! May Arts is our sponsor!! I love their ribbon!

Get a look at this story board to draw Inspiration from!
April 14, Sponsor May Arts
I decided to get my Mojo Monday on this week, so I created a card based on this layout.
The stamps I used were Wilson Designs' Spring Silhouettes.  The paper is an assortment in my scrap pile.  The flowers are from Michael's. I just adore these so much and just like the lace trim I can't seem to stop using them. My sentiment panel was distressed with my new little handy dandy Tim Holtz distress tool. It's so fun to distress things when you are not using your fingernail! :-)

I am also going to play along with Hand Stamped Sentiments- Easter, Creative Inspirations - Easter. Thanks to Heidi who told me about the ABC DT Challenge - Easter Card.

I sure hope you will join in the fun and play along!  Please check out the Off The Wall Craftiness blog for the details.  Be Sure to stop by the rest of the Design Team's blog for some talented inspiration! It just might put a little spring in your step! :-)  AmyJaclyn, and Tenia.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Friends Cherish Each Other's Hopes...

Hey there!!

I have another card to share with you inspired by the color challenge at CR84FN.
Here is the color inspiration board!
I created the card to bring together equal amounts of color for balance. I didn't want any one color to dominate.
True friends are a treasure and I just love the sentiment on this diecut. I have been lucky enough to have many wonderful people come in my life, but only a handful are lifelong friends, and they are the ones that are happy for you and cherish your dreams too, and they are the first ones to reach out when things are not all "dreamy" and stand by you through thick and thin.  Yes, I cherish my friends and I cherish their hopes and dreams too!
I have had a lot of comments about my card style lately.  I lightly touched base on this in my interview at Fascinating Fridays.  I don't like to put myself in a corner to any particular style. I tend to create based on my moods, time, and sometimes I will draw inspiration based on a challenge, a magazine, shopping, or just whatever flows together.   A perfect example is my post yesterday which is VERY different from today!  It was partly driven by the theme challenge, and the other part my son.  He is at the age where primary colors are so fun and they are colors he enjoys, so I had a great paper collection staring at me, and my card was born.  I have been asked what my comfort zone is, and I am not sure I have one. As of today, I am creating without my full range of crafting supplies/stamps/dies, so I have had a lot more fun embellishing.  (Although those cards cost more to mail! hmm...{wink})

Thanks for visiting with me today!

DeNami Designs Theme challenge 6 Sketch by Laura!

Hi there!

It's been awhile since I posted, but I have been busy enjoying some time with friends and family! So important!

I have a quick post for you for the DeNami Designs Theme Challenge! The theme for this challenge was BOY!
I used Laura's Sketch to create this adorable primary card perfect for any boy!
stampendous sketch
The stamps I used are some of my go to favorites with DeNami Designs. I used the adorable G 152 Elephant and the N 136 Medium polka dots background stamp. My sentiment is a big go to for me and it comes from TR16 All Occasions Sentiment set. Polka dots and stripes are fun and perfect mix of patterns. Which brings me to the other challenge I am linking up with: CYDA 17: spots and stripes!
I received a fabulous award today from Tisha at Tisha's Craft Cove.  Thank you!

There are only two rules for this award:

1. Post about it on your blog , and link back to the sender, and thank them.

2. Pass onto those who visit you regularly and leave comments: There are too many of you to list, and I appreciate each and everyone of you! I could never narrow this list down, so if you are here then you are totally Awesome and grab this award from ME!

That's it for me for today! A fun little card in those primary colors we love!  I know I have not been around to leave comment love lately, but I will catch up soon! :-)

Pinkalicious challenge 62-001

I am a stamper at heart, but I love embellishing cards more and more with diecuts and fun little dressings like doilies, buttons and bows! It's hard to see, but at the base of the card, I stamped a delightful decorative stamp from Crafty Secrets French Mail set using Memento Angel Pink
Adding some embellishing touches such as beautiful pale pink angel wings from MemrieMare with a resin rosette to the center also adding some Martha Stewart roses in pale pink.  The sentiment diecut is from K & Company. I added some dazzling diamonds glitter (however not showing up in this photograph)

I am also playing along with Flutter By Wednesday: Open.

I'm SO happy you popped in today! Thanks for all your kind comments you have been leaving! It just warms my heart!

Wilson Designs: April Release Day 2 Introducing Nauti-Cool

Welcome back to the second day of the Wilson Designs April Release! I have two more cards to share with you using "Nauti-Cool".
For my first card, I created a tag by paper piecing this adorable sailboat.  At the bottom of the tag, I used the chain stamp to create a border. Using the ship's wheel, I create my own designer paper for this "manly" nautical theme.  I finished this card off with one of the sentiments in the set.
Up next is a fun little card!
With this card, I stamped the sail and paper pieced the bottom of the boat.  I punched three rows of scallops to simulate waves.  How about that adorable sentiment?  It's just too perfect and sweet!  My sentiment banner is balancing on some fun colorful graduated embroidery twine.

Without further ado here is Nauti-Cool available for immediate purchase here.
The first person to buy the new release will automatically get next months release FREE!  You read correct FREE! If for some reason you should win the set for commenting too, then you are ONE LUCKY DOG, and you also have the option to select another set of your choice! Pretty cool!

All righty, I hope you have enjoyed your visit with me today. You'll want to pop over to all the Wilson Design Team blogs to leave some love for your chance to win Nauti-Cool.  Kim chooses the winner randomly over the three days from each of our blogs so be sure to comment on all blogs plus you are NOT going to want to miss the wonderful goodness from my fellow teammates!

A Friend...

Hi All,

It's been one of those weeks, but I thought I would try and sneak a card I worked on the other evening after putting the little shorty to bed. I hope you checked out the Wilson Designs inspirational sneak peeks. If you are reading this today then you still have time to comment on my post for a chance to win the new release. Just follow down or go here.  Check back tonight at 9:00 p.m. EST for the release.

My card uses the colors from CR84FN color challenge. Kraft, Green, and Brown!
I used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch layout.
I took a plain ol' doily in the baking section and VersaFine Vintage Sepia and sponges it to get the right shade I was looking for!  The beautiful green pattern paper is from a Me and My BIG Ideas paper pack. My Polka Dot was created by yours truly using DeNami Designs Medium Polka Dots.  Two different ribbons are layered for the side panel design and they are both by American Crafts!
The beautiful flower is by Recollections. The sentiment die-cut is from K & Company.

Thanks for taking a look with me today! Hope you have a FABULOUS Wednesday! Hope to see you back tonight!
Hugs!

Wilson Designs: April Release Day 1!

Hey Hey Hey!!! It's Wilson Designs release time!  The Wilson Designs Design Team is teasing showcasing projects using the new stamp release for April.

Here is my first card, as you can see this is a nautical set. I have chosen the Ship's Wheel using one of my favorite techniques: repetition to create my own background paper. I use this a lot in my projects.

I wrapped some hemp cord around my kraft panel threading my punched anchor paper charm.  A scalloped border trim and sentiment completes this Nauti-Cool card.
My Second card I use a little more girly bright colors displaying this fun set. Again, I am using repetition stamping to create a focal point and displaying one of the new sentiments in the set. Being that I am a Floridian and have lived in Hawaii for 9 years I run on solar power and therefore I am a Sun Kissed girl!  J I have friends who would appreciate this card also!

I just love the scripted font in this set.

The last card I have for you today is a mix up card.
The Pennants are too cute for words and I couldn't help but pin it up with some "bling". Shore Thing is a sentiment that comes in this release and I adore you  is from Ride Away With Me.  Kim's sets always work so well with each other.  Speaking of adore, how about that life preserver?

If you want a chance to win this adorable new Nauti-Cool set from Wilson Designs  be sure to leave a comment on my blog as well as the other design team blogs.  We never know where the winner will be drawn from. As always, I love hearing your thoughts and I appreciate you visiting so much! Check out my very talented teammates!  I will see you back tomorrow with some more inspiration and the reveal.

Skipping Stones Sketch and Totally Hues

Hey all~

How is your weekend going so far? I am back with a card for the Totally Hues Color Challenge and Skipping Stones Sketch Challenge! I love when two challenges work well together!  I am a big fan of Skipping Stones Designs stamps and I am a proud owner of some...they just are not in my possession.   They happen to be with all my other household items now in a storage unit in Virginia somewhere.

For my card, the stamps I used were DeNami Designs D114 Small Leafy Tree, F182 Round Leafy Tree
D115 Small Narrow Leafy Tree.  My sentiment is from the All Occasion Stamp Set. Then I added some rosettes and buttons along with some crochet trim another favorite. I just can't seem to stop using them.  The dainty pink angel wings are from MemrieMare Etsy shop. I distressed the edges of my paper this time using a distress tool and not my finger nail! (my nails are grateful).
Have a great day all.  I will check in with you tomorrow for the Wilson Designs Sneaky Peeky!
