Birthday Wishes with a "wee" bit of PDCC Color Splash

Hi Everyone! :-)
I hope you had a great weekend!
I went back and forth whether to even post this card at all, so I thought what the hey...nothing ventured right. I needed a birthday card for a very sweet lady in my church, so I know she will appreciate it no matter what, but having limited supplies does limit my satisfaction of posting a card to my liking for a Play Date Cafe Entry. Sometimes a simple card can be just as elegant with just a splash of color. A splash of eggplant ribbon is all I have at the moment in my temporary living situation to qualify for my PDCC entry so it will have to do! :-)

Just below the eggplant ribbon, is a row of mini pom pom's in white. Love this stuff!
Look at this beautiful photo from PDCC! I am glad they did not limit it to lilac only.
Well, I hope you enjoy whatever you are doing in your part of the world! Till next time!

Off The Wall Craftiness 43 Meets Moxie Fab

I'm back with this week's Off the Wall Craftiness color inspiration challenge! I love Black and White and when you combine that
with Wilson Designs Simply Silhouettes  it's a perfect match
in my opinion!
Starting with a black card base, I created my own designer
paper with this adorable bow image from Simply Silhouettes.
then layered on a paper doily which I stamped the Oval  Frame and
Girl Silhouette image from the set.
I added the sentiment to the bottom portion of the card using
Here is the elegant inspiration photo
for the week!
Our Sponsor this Week is Third Coast Stamps!
We would love to see what you create, so be sure to
go to Off The Wall Craftiness to see the other darling designers’ cards and the details on the prize.  Also the very talented Karen Baker pointed

DeNami Sketch Challenge #6

Hey there! I hope you are having a fabulous week!! I’m back today to share a card I created using DeNami’s sketch #6. Since I don't have all my DeNami stamps with me, I am using some of the ones I just recently purchased taking advantage of the recent special DeNami advertised in the InTouch Newsletter. See, a good reason to sign up!! :-)
Here is my take on the sketch.
I punched a negative with a heart punch and fussy cut those adorable
 hearts and popped them inside!
Lots of DeNami Valentine Goodness!
Here is the sketch!
I hope ya'll like my DeNami Sketch entry. Thank you so much for your sweet comments, each one makes me smile. :-)

Birthday Time!

Hi!
I am back with another birthday card. I used a layout inspired by Mojo Monday and color inspiration from  The Play Date Cafe to pull it all together.
Here is the sketch from Mojo Monday
Here is the color inspiration board by
The Play Date Cafe
The stamps and designer paper are a cute line by Nikki Sivils. This butterfly is so fun! I stamped the butterfly image on the pattern paper in the line and fussy cut it and popped it up finishing it off by adding some green pearl embellishments.
Until next time.....

Jay Gee's Nook Challenge #3

Hello~
I hope you had a great weekend!
I had so much fun making this card for Jay Gee's Nook Challenge #3. I was just so happy I could play along. I knew when I saw those pretty spring hues in the inspiration photo I had to work it out to play along somehow, and since I have several birthdays coming up I need some cards while I am staying at my Mom's.
Here is the inspiring photo!
The Stamps I used today are Simply Silhouettes by Wilson Designs. I also created my own subtle background paper using the poodle from this set. Fun! My Happy Birthday sentiment was used from Wilson Designs' Everything's Owlright! I also added a strip of mini pom poms, followed by a layer of scallops. Who doesn't love scallops right?
Well, thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!

Kim has for us!
As always, be sure to go to Off The Wall Craftiness
to see the other designers’ cards and the details of the prize.

To give a little update, my son and I are still living in transition with family while
my husband is away at a military training school.
So this crafting project was possible by some friends
who were so super sweet and surprised me with
some crafting goodness.
Since my crafting supplies along with
with my household goods are packed on their way from
Hawaii to our next duty station.  We could only pack what
could fit in suitcases to live out of for a few months,
so thank you to my sweet friends
I was worried about being able to take decent pictures,
but I just did my best! :-)
So, thanks for taking a look at my
super simple card! I never realized how much I depended
on so many of my crafting toys till I didn't have them!
I have missed you guys!!!
Have a great Friday!
I can't wait to see what you create!

Happy New Year 2011!!

Hello Dear Friends!

I just wanted to pop on to say I wish you all a very Happy start to your New Year! I hope this year finds contentment in all that you do. I am going to try my best to remember my own advice as the first fourth of our year will be a little out of the norm for our family. Looking at the positives like being able to be with family is such a joy which we have missed out on for 9 years living so far away. Looking forward to experiencing living in a different part of the country soon and seeing what it has to offer.

So, with that said, in 2011, I wish you MUCH JOY, LOVE, and CONTENTMENT in your heart without limit!

Happy New Year!
~Tammy~
